The clown triggerfish is one of the more popular members of the triggerfish family. It is not only huge, but exceptionally aggressive. They are given the scientific name Balistoides Conspicillum along with are more often than not found in the oceans of the Indo-Pacific.
Its lower body is full off white patches white most of its body is a full black. its mouth along with top side of the fish has yellow highlights. It has a huge head that makes as much as 1/3 of its total body length.
While not quite as huge as their larger cousin, the Titan triggerfish, Clown triggerfish are still huge as they can top out at 1 in addition to a half feet. Along with their assertive nature, they are also highly territorial fish.
Owing to their huge size, they really need an tank no smaller than a 200 gallon aquarium. Anything less is unacceptable. Their aquarium mates should be tough as well as huge fish that are not easily bullied.
